How do you teach gratitude, I've failed miserably.
Today, as I was washing dishes, my 10 year-old daughter, Sassy, was sitting in the kitchen playing roblox on her phone. Sassy was not even 5 feet from the refrigerator, and sitting directly below the cabinet that our cups are in when she asks me to get her a glass of water. I told her she could get herself a glass of water. She had the audacity to argue with me about getting herself a glass of water! As she is sitting on her butt playing a game on a phone that I purchased and am allowing her to use, while I am cleaning the kitchen from when I cooked dinner for her, she goes on to say that I am acting like I don't love her because I won't stop cleaning to get her a glass of water. She finally decides to get off her butt and get some water, and I ask her to grab a towel from the closet and dry the dishes that I've just washed. She then tells me that she can't get a towel because she's getting herself a glass of water "like you asked me to". Flabbergasted, my
